Research Interests:

My current research interests lie within population genetics and the use of simulations to better understand how genes flow within populations. Currently I’m studying the Colorado Potato Beetle in Wisconsin, and I am hoping to use my simulations to learn more about the spread of pesticide resistance within the species.

Personal Interests:

Outside of my research, I really love rock climbing. I mostly do indoor rock climbing but I am slowly branching out to the outdoors as well. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music and playing video games. I also love cooking and slowly learning the many recipes known by my Mom and my Grandma.
